Material-Driven?
Materials are the building blocks of every project- whether it’s a temporary installation or an entire housing complex. By analyzing and using appropriate materials early on in the design process, we can avoid waste, reduce carbon dioxide emissions - and save client’s money. We also research and innovate cutting-edge materials for ocean biodiversity projects at our sister company ReefCircular.

Exhibition Design
Studio Kathryn Larsen was invited to design a selfie-wall exhibition for the UIA World Congress, to represent the next generation of young, Danish architects. The selfie wall was made out of our own seaweed-based bioplastics and paints in-house, all 100% biobased and biodegradable.

Renovations
When the owner of an andelsbolig in the center of Frederiksberg purchased their apartment, the only shower was located in the middle of the kitchen. The architects at Studio Kathryn Larsen designed a completely new kitchen and bathroom for this 120-year-old apartment, saving the client time and money.
